My journey to becoming an orthodontist has been a long but rewarding one. After growing up in North York, I completed my Bachelor of Science at Western University, where I had the honor of earning a gold medal and being named Gonfalonier for achieving the highest academic average in my program and the Faculty of Science. I then pursued my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto, before moving to Vancouver to complete my orthodontic specialty training and a Master of Science degree at the University of British Columbia. I am also proud to be a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, dedicated to upholding the highest standards in our field.
Throughout my education, I’ve been fortunate to publish several scientific papers in dentistry and orthodontics, including in prestigious journals such as Pain® and the European Journal of Orthodontics.
Outside of work, I cherish my time with my fiancée, Mirian, who I met during dental school and who is also training to become an orthodontist at UBC. Together, we care for our adorable bunny, Mashi. When I’m not with them, you can often find me on the badminton court, exploring hobbies like archery, pottery, filmmaking, or contributing to nonprofit work.
